A SHARED CALLING
We teach.
We homeschool.
We understand the balancing act.
Homeschooling Hearts comes from two BC-certified teachers who are also homeschooling parents of six.
At the kitchen table and alongside families.
We know the questions that come with home education: What is required? Is this resource enough? What should we send the teacher? How do we make it all fit into family life?
Our experience in independent education has shown us how much effort goes into connecting a family’s choices with the curriculum a school must teach and assess. We want to make those connections clearer.
Faith is part of how we see learning.
We are Christians writing for Christian families. We want our work to encourage wisdom, responsibility, kindness, and thoughtful engagement with the world, supported by relevant Scripture and honest reflection.
Our approach is broadly Christian rather than denominational. We will describe the faith content of each title plainly, so families and schools can judge whether it fits their needs.
Starting carefully. Writing honestly.
We are writing our first curriculum. Until it is ready, we are sharing practical guidance drawn from our teaching experience and checked against official BC sources. We will not fill a catalogue with promises or call an unfinished resource a finished course.
A LITTLE CLARITY. A LITTLE ENCOURAGEMENT.
Good things are taking shape.
We are writing Christian curriculum for students enrolled with BC independent online learning schools.
We look forward to sharing it with you.
